🚂 Current Appeal: The Brian Hall Memorial Fund
Launched May 2026
It was Brian Hall who set the project in motion to build a B17 back in 2011, and from that date it was Brian who drove the project forward. The Trust has decided to suspend all current fundraising appeals for six months. and set up a fund for a component of the locomotive that will drive 'Spirit of Sandringham' forward.
We are therefore setting a target of £50,000 to cover the cost of fabricating the middle cylinder and smokebox saddle where it will be placed between the frames and support the smokebox. The two outside cylinders will follow at a later date and be the subject of a separate Cylinder Club appeal.
