This was the final two day steam gala for "enthusiasts" prior to the setting up of the annual Christmas Festivities. During the early part of Saturday afternoon, the five winning tickets for "The B17 2025 Grand Draw" was made by Andrew Devine, representing the GCR Staff at Quorn, and overseen by Richard Taylor.
The GCR rostered five steam locomotives and two diesels, operating passenger and freight services alongside two diesel railcar sets. Locos included BR Standard Class 5 No. 73156, Class 2s Nos. 78018 and 78019, Class J94 No. 68067, and GWR Hall No. 6990 Witherslack Hall.
