We had the pleasure of attending "Giants of Steam" at the Bluebell Railway, an event highlighting the new chapter of railway preservation. It aimed to be the biggest gathering of newly built standard gauge steam locomotives.
Featured guest locomotives included 60163 "Tornado", 6880 "Betton Grange", and 2999 "Lady of Legend" alongside the Bluebell’s own newly built 32424 "Beachy Head".
Our stand was on platforms 1 and 2 at Horsted Keynes, giving us a front-row seat to the incredible lineup on Saturday. This was our first venture South of the River, and with John Pearson and Richard Taylor manning the stand, it won't be our last!
