This gala featured eight steam locomotives operating passenger and freight services. The stars of the show were LMS Jubilee 45596 "Bahamas" (with double chimney) and an LNWR Tank Loco, both visiting from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
This was the final public show for "Bahamas" before its major overhaul. Stanier Mogul 13268 also visited from the Severn Valley Railway. The home fleet included BR Standards 73156, 78018, 78019, and GWR Hall 6990 "Witherslack Hall".
