A local event for Essex, the day was beset with a number of heavy rain showers, but nevertheless still attracted a reasonable crowd.
There was plenty of action with all three of the Museum's steam locomotives operating giving unlimited rides all day. Our stand was based in the Goods Shed which whilst a great location in itself, did not attract many visitors, being off the main thoroughfare. Consequently our takings were modest, but nevertheless it was an enjoyable day and gave Richard Taylor and Nigel Ellis the opportunity to engage with a number of members and visitors.
