It is always a pleasure to attend this exhibition and to have the opportunity of working alongside the enthusiastic band of Southend Group helpers on 27th May 2023.
The morning started slowly, but soon picked up as people began to arrive. The second hand model items were popular but the highlight was the sale of two of the remaining legacy re-purposed Hornby B17 locomotives. In addition to sales of our merchandise, sales of raffle tickets were particularly strong with John Barnes leading the way. Thanks to the Billericay Club for a well organised event.
