A team of members from the Cambs and Fens Group attended the Nene Valley Railway for the Nene Vallay's Locomotive Legends event.
A renaming ceremony for Battle of Britain Class 92 Squadron drew lots of retired uniformed RAF officers to the platform and provided extra activity on Saturday. Public attendance was more modest over the three days due to no visiting steam engine being present. However, public support for the project was healthy through sales of B17 merchandise, raffle tickets, second hand goods and donations.
