On Saturday 20th April Cambs & Fens Group spoke to Brambly Line members, after their AGM, about railway men buried in Station Road Cemetery, March.
These men had mostly died through horrific accident. Mainly footplate staff, but also guards, a PW Inspector, a boilersmith, a shunter and a labourer. Even a driver from a foreign railway who had returned to his home town and died in retirement. It was only a very small audience but receipts were useful.
