Peter Wright was assisted for two days by Steve Halford with help and transport from Richard & Joan Munns on Saturday morning and John Woodford on Sunday evening at the Wansford Steam Event (21st/22nd August 2021).
The number of people patronising the railway seemed less than previous visits; however the weather was better than forecast with some intermittent light rain on both days but only heavier towards the end of the event on Saturday. We were visited by several members who were pleased to see us and a satisfactory amount was raised towards the Trust’s funds.
