Thursday, Jan 28th, saw the first B17 Trust event of the year for the Cambs and Fens Area Group, when Peter Wright spoke to the local branch of the NHS Retirement Fellowship.
In what was a highly engaging and thoroughly researched talk, Peter spoke principally on the topic of ‘March - a railway town’. Peter succeeded in bringing the subject to life for the mostly female audience. Afterwards, several people came forward to say how much they had enjoyed the talk, so much so that Peter was invited to repeat the talk in future. Funds were raised from the sales of Trust merchandise afterwards.
